Ladies Auxiliary

President’s Message Congratulations to all of our Ladies Auxiliary Sisters who were asked to fulfill the themes of our National President to be “Serving from the heart for our Veterans.” and our Department President to “Saluting Our Veterans, Supporting Our Troops.” Together District 2 Sisters always met the needs of our veterans. Your dedication provided the momentum to keep everyone involved with our programs. You worked hard to keep the Ladies Auxiliary visible in your community. You were diligent in your efforts to keep membership strong. For the third consecutive year District 2 is 100% in membership and we signed up 56 new members and 11 reinstates! I wish to thank the Paramus Post for hosting our 68th Annual Convention. I also wish to thank the Elmwood Park Memorial Post 5084 for hosting the Ladies Auxiliary District 2 Meetings, the President’s official visit, and for all the courtesies you extended to me. To the officers that have served with me, I thank you from the bottom of my heart because we would not have completed the great work we set out to do without you. To my home Auxiliary 5084 Sisters, thank you for all your support and willingness to be there for me whenever I needed your help. I wish all the new officers of both the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the Ladies Auxiliary a very productive year. I pledge my loyal support to you in whatever way I can. Sisters, thank you for the opportunity to serve with you as your District President in 2012-2013. The memories will last forever. Loyally, Lauren L. Thomson District 2 President...
