Commander's Message
 
The Blue Star Mothers Chapter 3 of North Jersey and our Washington Elm VFW Post 192 (Ridgewood--Ho-Ho-Kus)have taken the lead and we as a District passed a District Resolution supporting them in working hard for the passage of the Honor and Remember Flag as an official NJ Flag. On November 19, 2012 Governor Christie signed the A-2029 bill into law, so NJ is the 14th State in the Union to have the Honor and Remember Flag as an official State Flag (http://www.honorandremember.org/). Thank you to all of you who contacted our representatives when we asked.
